How We Work

A Practical Approach to Technology Projects.

A clear, six-stage process that scales from a focused question to a broader initiative — so you always know what is happening, why, and what comes next.

Our Process

Six Stages From
Question to Solution.

Not every engagement needs every stage in full. A focused question might move through them in a few conversations; a larger initiative takes longer. The sequence stays the same.

  1. Stage 01

    Discover — Understanding your organization

We begin by listening. The goal is to understand your organization, what you are trying to achieve and the environment technology operates in today.

    What happens

    • An initial conversation about goals and context
    • Conversations with key people who use the systems
    • Review of relevant documentation you choose to share

    What you receive

    • A shared understanding of the question
    • Agreement on who should be involved
    • A proposed scope for the engagement
  2. Stage 02

Assess — Reviewing needs and current technology

Next, we look closely at the current state: systems, workflows, information and the challenges people experience. We pay attention to what works well, not only what doesn’t.

    What happens

    • Workflow mapping and observation
    • An inventory of relevant systems and tools
    • Identification of pain points and constraints

    What you receive

    • A summary of findings
    • Key issues and opportunities, clearly described
    • Open questions that need decisions
  3. Stage 03

Define — Setting priorities and approaches

With a clear picture of the current state, we work with you to agree priorities and explore potential approaches. Trade-offs are made visible so decisions are well informed.

    What happens

    • Agreeing prioritization criteria
    • Exploring options, including non-technical changes
    • Discussing risks, dependencies and capacity

    What you receive

    • Agreed priorities
    • Preferred approach and rationale
    • Requirements where relevant
  4. Stage 04

Design — Developing the solution or roadmap

We then develop the appropriate output: a roadmap, a system plan, a website design, a reporting structure or another agreed deliverable. Drafts are reviewed together and refined.

    What happens

    • Developing the agreed deliverables
    • Review sessions with stakeholders
    • Refinement based on feedback

    What you receive

    • The solution design, plan or roadmap
    • Clear documentation
    • An implementation outline
  5. Stage 05

    Implement — Supporting practical implementation

Where implementation is included in the engagement, we support the practical work of putting the plan into action, coordinating with your team and any other providers involved.

    What happens

    • Building, configuring or coordinating as agreed
    • Testing with real scenarios
    • Training and guidance for users

    What you receive

    • Implemented changes within the agreed scope
    • User guidance and handover materials
    • A record of decisions and configurations
  6. Stage 06

Review — Evaluating outcomes and next steps

Finally, we look at how things are working. What has improved? What still needs attention? Review closes the loop and helps you decide what, if anything, should come next.

    What happens

    • A review conversation with key people
    • Comparing results against original goals
    • Identifying follow-up opportunities

    What you receive

    • A short review summary
    • Recommended next steps
    • Updated roadmap or priorities where relevant

What Clients Can Expect

Clear Expectations, Throughout.

Good technology work depends on good working relationships. These are the commitments that shape every Techlurio engagement.

Communication

You will have a clear point of contact. We agree how and how often we will update you, and we explain technical topics in plain language.

Scope

Every engagement has a written scope describing what is included, the deliverables and the expected timeline. Changes to scope are discussed and agreed before work proceeds.

Decision Making

Decisions remain yours. We provide options, reasoning and recommendations, and make sure the people affected understand them.

Documentation

Findings, decisions and configurations are documented so that your organization retains the knowledge, regardless of who does the work in future.

Collaboration

Your team’s knowledge is essential. We schedule participation around their work and keep requests for time focused.

Next Steps

Each stage ends with clear next steps, so you always know what happens now, what is waiting on a decision and what comes later.
